What this property needed
For an eco retreat the setting is not the backdrop to the offer, it is the offer. Someone choosing Arboeden is choosing to be in a particular kind of place, and the accommodation is only one part of what they are buying. That makes conventional property photography a poor fit: a room photograph deliberately crops out everything around the room, which is precisely the part that matters here.
How we captured it
We captured the accommodation and the grounds, then built a tour that moves between them continuously — cabin to trail to surroundings — so the relationship between the built and the natural parts of the property is preserved rather than edited out. Information hotspots sit on the property so a visitor can understand what they are looking at without a caption underneath.
